What kind of /SNIP/ sleeps with a married man, 30 years senior to get into politics?

Obviously this kind.

Extramarital affair with Kamala Harris? Former San Francisco mayor, 84, its it happened.

Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown addressed his past extramarital relationship with U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris in his weekly column Saturday, saying he may have boosted the presidential hopeful's career.

"Yes, we dated. It was more than 20 years ago," Brown wrote in the San Francisco Chronicle.

"Yes, I may have influenced her career by appointing her to two state commissions when I was [California] Assembly speaker. And I certainly helped with her first race for district attorney in San Francisco."

Brown, 84, pointed out that he also helped the careers of other prominent California Democrats, such as U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Gov. Gavin Newsom and U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

Brown appointed Harris -- about 30 years younger than Brown and just a few years out of law school – to two well-paid state commission assignments on the Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board and the California Medical Assistance Commission, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

Named one of the world’s 10 sexiest men by Playgirl magazine in 1984, Brown sometimes attended parties with his wife on one arm and a girlfriend on the other, according to a reporter quoted by the magazine.

Brown and Harris broke up in 1995 but remained political allies.

Oh tsk, tsk, Naughty Kamala ! Time to salivate over that reveal (which happens to be a very old, well known for years, scandal, especially in CA).

In a environment with the pussy grabbing, thrice married POTUS....does anyone seriously think this old reveal is going to make a ripple? And how do you know she bedded him to get ahead? If he was all that sexy, there may be a much simpler explanation.

In general, does anyone think Kamala Harris has a snowball in hell's chance of being nominated to run in the first place? Not likely.

The level of pure pettiness being expressed is astonishing...but there is !!

Yes, let's take away your freedom to make a choice and once again cram the failed social health care system down everyone's throat.

Kamala Harris vows to get rid of private health care plans: 'Let's eliminate all of that. Let's move on'

California Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris, speaking during a town hall Monday night, vowed to eliminate all private health care insurance for approximately 150 million Americans if she is elected president.

Asked by CNN host Jake Tapper if people who like their current health care insurance could keep it under Harris' "Medicare for All" plan, Harris indicated they could not -- but that, in turn, they would experience health care without any delays.

Uh....this is from the man who wants to take away choices from women?
Downright funny.

Meanwhile, if you have no health care, that may take away your choice to stay alive. Nice alternatives offered there.

Moving along down the lineup to Cory Booker...

Stunning new sexual assault allegations have surfaced against Democrat New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, and the man who is alleging the charges is both gay and a self-proclaimed liberal who says he votes for the Democrat Party.

“If we were to travel just 4 years back in time, you and I would find solidarity on the subject of Cory Booker. As a matter of fact, he was a hero of mine. I was and still am, a liberal in principal with a record of voting exclusively for Democrats since I was 18 with the exception of the 2016 election cycle. But it was in the summer of 2014, when Senator Booker visited my workplace, that my political worldview began to shift,” the acc wrote in a piece titled “Cory Booker Sexually Assaulted Me and why it won’t matter to the #metoo movement.”

“I stopped to use one of the building’s single-occupancy restrooms. Upon washing my hands prior to leaving, I heard knocking on the door,” he wrote. “When I opened the door, Mr. Booker was there. He smiled and very gregariously said ‘Hey!’ We engaged in some brief idle chitchat in the entryway and then he asked me to speak in private. What happened next, happened so fast that it was hard for me to comprehend what was going on … He pulled me into the restroom, albeit not too forcefully and slowly pushed me against the restroom wall. He said that ‘Being a hero was a serious turn-on.’ He continued, ‘The Senate appreciates fine citizens like you. Especially this Senator.’ He then put his left hand on my groin, over my jeans and began to rub. I seem to saying something like ‘What is happening?’ It was a bit like having vertigo. He then used his other hand to grab my left hand with his right and pulled it over to touch him. At the same time, he disengaged from rubbing me and used his left hand to push me to my knees from my shoulder for what was clearly a move to have me perform oral sex on him. At that point, I pulled away quite violently and told him I had to go. I did not see him again before he left. “

And the Mexicans are sick of Pelosi politics as well. Trump made an offer for the dreamers which she didn't even consider. Now he will be deporting in mass to make his point and appease his base.

Trump offered to DELAY deportation of the Dreamers. Some promise, eh?

Meanwhile, families remain separated and ICE arrives at the courthouses to grab people who come for their appointments.

Unless you have verified information about Mexicans opinions about all this, your allegations are meaningless.

Then we get the coffee king with his years of governmental experience... oh wait, he has absolutely none, but then again, that's not a qualification for democrats, they elected Obama who never even ran a hot dog stand.

This is getting hilarious.

Democrats are threatening to boycott Starbucks if the coffee giant's former CEO Howard Schultz brings his potential 2020 ambitions to fruition.

Since announcing on January 27 that he was "seriously considering running for president as a centrist independent," Schultz faced almost immediate calls to seriously reconsider.

At issue is the possibility that Schultz running as an independent could split the vote in the 2020 election, potentially securing President Donald Trump's re-election.

After airing his potential 2020 ambitions on Twitter, Schultz was faced with a wave of appeals with a resounding message: "Please don't."

In an interview with CBS News's 60 Minutes on January 27, Schultz explained his reasoning for wanting to run as an independent, asserting that while he has "been a lifelong Democrat," when he looks at both parties he sees "extremes on both sides."

Do you seriously believe that or are you joking? It appears by your post you do believe Obama wasn't a seasoned politican. Pathetic if true.

Your very low level thinking and of accepting fake stories that even when read are stupid like the ones you selected to post today is unbelievable if they are not all jokes.

"That's why he's there and I think he has done a tremendous job in ing a lot of the things that people of faith really care about."

Sanders argued that Trump is the "most conservative president that we've ever had," pointing to how the istration has reshaped the judicial system with a wide assortment of conservative judges.

"I think that will be one of the greatest legacies that the president has after his 8 years in office is how he has completely remade the judiciary and started to stop this activist court that we've started to see over the last 8 years," Sander said. "There's a reason evangelicals are sticking with the President, and that's because he's delivered on all the things he said he would do." "

"Trump boosts bills to teach his favorite book — the Bible — in public schools

Trump’s tweet came minutes after “Fox & Friends” aired a segment Monday morning on pending legislation in six states — Florida, Indiana, Missouri, North Dakota, Virginia and West Virginia — that would allow Bible literacy courses to become a part of a public school education.

President Trump signaled his on Monday for state bills that would allow public schools to teach courses in the Bible, which he once proclaimed was his favorite book.

“Nothing beats the Bible,” Trump famously said on the campaign trail in 2015 — not even “The Art of the Deal.”

The Christian activists who crafted the template for inserting the Bible into public school curricula celebrated the president’s endorsement of the idea.

“We were excited to see it happen,” Steven Fitschen, president of the National Legal Foundation, told Yahoo News. “The model bill that we were involved with is for the state level, but we were excited to see him use his bully pulpit, so to speak.”

Fitschen said the Congressional Prayer Caucus Foundation — a nonprofit group formed by former Virginia Republican Congressman J. Randy Forbes to promote “restoring Judeo-Christian principles” — hired him to help draft the text of legislation that could withstand First Amendment challenges to teaching the Bible in schools.

“We looked at what was already in existence and tried to craft a model bill so we could eliminate any constitutional problems, so there could be a course that taught about Islam or Buddhism or any other religion. Many other schools already have comparative religion courses,” Fitschen said. “The reason we centered in on the Bible, the Old Testament and the New Testament, is the history of the country, how much of our idiom and our political framework, all these things that were biblically derived because of the historical situation with many of the early colonists.” "

Baptist Christian Fundamentalists' Dominionism and Revisionism.

That segment didn't make a secret of what they were ultimately up to, so it's no surprise that they are forging ahead with their program or that the ultimate hypocrite, Trump, is doing his best to enable it.
My basic problem with those people is that they are not content to practice their religion's precepts and attempt to convert others. Their goal is to force everyone else to follow their rules.
There are already enough rules which, if broken, can land people in prison.

Everyone of the devote Baptist Christian Fundamentalists is insane. They think/believe [in their created fantasy - severe mental illness] the "holy ghost [holy spirit]" lives inside them which they believe is a part of their God of the Bible when they are " born again" hence they are part God and since God created the universe and "owns" everything in it they are obligated to follow what the Bible says and " have dominion over God's creation " retranslated to have dominion over the Earth and all it's inhabitants and masses [countries]. This stuff seems real to them but reality is the Bible is a made up story of a tribal God verses everyone not from that tyranical God's tribe and everyone needs to obey that God or be defeated and enslaved or eliminated through violence. Very sick stuff. IMO

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) apologized to Cherokee nation for increasing confusion over tribal citizenship by publishing her DNA tests.

“Senator Warren has reached out to us and has apologized to the tribe" Executive Director of Cherokee Nation Communications Julie Hubbard told The Hill Friday.

"We are encouraged by this dialogue and understanding that being a Cherokee Nation tribal citizen is rooted in centuries of culture and laws not through DNA tests. We are encouraged by her action and hope that the slurs and mockery of tribal citizens and Indian history and heritage will now come to an end."

Let's not forget the porn star. You can't make this stuff up...

A Democrat porn star is ending her long shot 2020 bid to “Make America F---ing Awesome Again” after her campaign failed to get off the ground.

Cherie DeVille, an adult film actress whose real name is Carolyn Paparozzi, made a splash after announcing her bid for president 17 months ago, way ahead of every other candidate, and hoped to run for the Democrat Party’s nomination.

But she has officially ended her endeavor, citing a lack of for a campaign that tried to combine opposition to Trump, libertarianism, and Bernie Sanders-like views, including legalization of marijuana, free education, gun control, and net neutrality.

"Florida considers whether to allow public schools to offer bible classes

Sarah Harvard
The IndependentFebruary 2, 2019, 2:20 PM CST

A Florida lawmaker has introduced a bill in the state legislature requiring public high schools to offer a course in the Bible and the Christian religion, arguing the measure would reduce crime.

The Sunshine State already has an existing state law, approved in 2002, granting school districts the options of providing courses to include the “objective study” of the Bible.

House Bill 195, however, would require the school districts to include the courses as a part of the curriculum while allowing students to decide on enrolling.

“In the world there is one book that is the ultimate authority on mankind. That is the Holy Bible,” Mr Drake added. “I think it should be studied in our schools.”

Texas, Florida and several other states are run by Christian Fundamentals obviously. Their state school boards have been on again, off again Baptist Christian Fundamentalist elected trustees in the majority in places since the 1960s and Bible classes and history classes have been injected with lies by the Baptist doctrine of Dominionism and Revisionism usually when in the majority and when in the minority state school board trustees put it back to accepted standards. A real problem for students living in Texas, Florida and some other Bible Belt states for 50 years or more.

Pathetic covert misuse of the democratic system where there is a Baptist church every six blocks and Baptist radio evangelists by the score in every county in the lower 48 states spreading their fraudulent take on how evil our society is and only being "Born Again" saves you from a multitude of things they are against like: civil rights, equality, justice for all, tollerence, freedom for all, empathy, truth - they lie about everything, homosexuality, Democrats, liberals/leftists, fact based science, fact based US history, all other religions not Baptist including Catholics, Mormons, JWs. Hinduism, Buddism, Islam, Spirituality etc.. The list is longer but you can see the antis are there in abundance and the fors are only there for those following their Baptist dogma [of extreme intollerence].

And yet, it is possible to find messages in both the old and the new testament urging tolerance, love for one's neighbor and all the good things these Baptist types seem to ignore en masse. It is also true that negative messages resonate more loudly among people. Fear sells, gets votes and fanatical loyalty. A good example is Trump's wall arguments.

I can't help but wonder why the South continues to be the center of nurturing hate. Perhaps this is the end result of the institution of human slavery: one of the ultimate sins. Somehow, they are still attempting to make it all right to force a way of life on others: the essence of slavery.

It would be more acceptable if the "others" were demonized. Thus, the caravan of "others" could not consist of ordinary people like themselves. They must be "bad hombres" such as gang , drug dealers, human traffickers and the like...and must be feared. The image of a huge physical wall to keep them out would appeal. Trump knows his audience. They lap this up.

Unfortunately for Trump, he does not have a majority among the nation's citizenry, so his solution is judicial appointments that will allow his policies to effectively become the way the law of the land operates. Thus, we have people salivating over a vacancy in the Supreme Court and Trump-approved movements to put Bible study in the public schools.

"New push for public school Bible studies classes is an excuse to spread Christian gospel

Jonathan Zimmerman
USA TODAY OpinionFebruary 8, 2019, 1:35 PM CST

The Supreme Court barred devotional Bible reading and recitations of the Lord’s Prayer in public schools in 1963. But the ruling also said courses about the Bible were permissible, so long as they were “presented objectively as part of a secular program of education.”

Evangelical Christians promptly began a full-court press for Bible classes, which were hardly objective or secular. As I noted in my 2002 book, "Whose America?: Culture Wars in the Public Schools," a Florida teacher of “Bible history” said his class had helped recruit more than 100 new into an after-school “Youth for Christ” course. And in South Carolina, a graduate of her own school’s “Bible survey” said the course had persuaded her to become a missionary. “I want everybody to have what I have,” she told her teacher, “And I’d like to spend my life sharing it with them.”

As reported last month in USA TODAY, lawmakers in at least six states have introduced measures that would require or encourage elective classes about the Bible. Unlike their forerunners a half-century ago, who were explicit about their evangelical aims, ers of the new bills insist that the classes seek only to inform people about a central text in American and world history.

Yet the “information” these courses present is obviously biased towards evangelical Christianity, as proponents’ own rhetoric reveals. “A study of a book of creation by its creator is absolutely essential,” said Florida Rep. Brad Drake, a co-sponsor of Florida's bill. "It’s the book that prepares us for eternity, and there’s no other book that does that.”

According to a 2013 investigation bySouthern Methodist University religion professor Mark Chancey for the Texas Freedom Network, several schools presented the Bible as the inerrant word of God. “The Bible is written under God’s direction and inspiration,” read one PowerPoint slide shown in classrooms. The slide didn’t say some people believe the Bible is inspired by God, which is a statement of fact. It said the Bible is divinely inspired, which is a statement of faith. It has no place in a public school.

Other Texas students learned that Africans descended from Noah’s son Ham, who supposedly had a curse placed upon him by his father. As the schools correctly noted, that biblical age was used as a rationale for slavery. But the descent of Africans from Ham was presented to students as a fact, not as a belief."

Once a person firmly believes that (a) there is an all powerful God and (b)that said God's word is contained in the Bible and that (c) embracing Christianity (especially that person's version of it) is the most important thing in life, then the laws of the country are secondary and "anything goes" in evangelizing. Same deal as the Taliban.

As in the past, the perpetrators must be stopped and "separation of church and state" restored and maintained.

Back on track... With a gay man now accusing senator Cory Booker of sexual assault, will Spartacus now be subjected to what he put Justice Kavanaugh through and, since the accusation must be believed, where's the fake news media condemnation? Were's the FBI investigation? Where are the crowds shouting "We believe survivors!"
