IVA on online English classes

Good morning. I've been an English teacher for more than thirty years in Spain and a ed Cambridge Preparation centre. I've now moved to Portugal and am teaching my Spanish students online , whilst based in Portugal. My classes are live, individual and real time, does anyone know if these should have VAT added to them. I'm getting conflicting advice from my ant, financas and the Spanish authorities. I'd really appreciate any advice from someone who already has a similar situation. Thank you in advance.

Well I do know that in Spain, there's no IVA on core subjects - but since you're in Portugal, Portuguese rules apply, not Spanish.

Just checking - do you have the legal right to work in Portugal?

That is what I was thinking. The WA only maintained rights for Brits in the country they were living at the time of Brexit unless the OP has an EU port?
